part i.
Character name: Arya Stark
Fandom: A Song of Ic and Fire
Species (vampire, werewolf, what have you): Human/warg
Character powers: Arya showed signs of being a warg, also known as a skinchanger, someone who can slip their skin and enter the minds of animals, controlling their actions from very early on. She only did this with Nymeria, her lost wolf, though she wasn't aware that they were anything more than dreams. Since she first started having her wolf dreams, though, things have changed a great deal.
Arya knows how to slip her skin and into any animal's, now. She needs to see the animal to do it the first time, but once she's worn an animal's skin, it's permanently linked to her. They don't always follow her - she rarely orders them to - but certain animals will stay close. She slips into dogs very rarely because they tend to stick around. (And she kind of hates dogs.)
She can also force her way into humans, now. She does this sparingly, because it frequently damages the host, noticeably, and sometimes they remember what happened when she leaves, if not who did it. Sometimes they remember who, too, and then she has to kill them.
part ii.
1.) Is it acceptable for your character to be mind-controlled or persuaded? How susceptible are they to mind control, hypnotism, or suggestion? Yes, though preferably talk to me first, even if it's just in ooc comments. I'm pretty chill with things. Arya is relatively susceptible; she was likely trained in meditations, but mental disciplines that would probably help her resist telepathy aren't the kind of thing she'd be good a t.
2.) Is it acceptable for your character to have their mind read? Does this include traumatic memories? What is their mind like (disturbing, orderly, joyful, surprisingly empty, etc.)? If the character has psychic walls or preventative measures against psychic interference, please explain. Yep, it's acceptable. Her mind is probably equal parts disturbing and ordered, though a lot of her past will be jumbled. She hasn't forgotten anything, but the brainwashing with the Faceless Men has made it hard to distinguish between her, Arya, and her, no one. But either way she's been plotting murder since she was nine, so there's that. :V
3.) Are thoughts mentioned in narration acceptable for a telepath to pick up? Yep!
4.) What about emotions, in the case of an empath? What sort of general emotional reading would such a character receive from yours? Angry, frustrated, agitated. Arya isn't a happy girl. :c
5.) Are there any aspects of your character's mind, emotions, or memories you would like to be picked up, mentioned, or used in character? Conversely, is there anything that should not be noticed, or at least never mentioned? EVERYTHING. I haven't decided yet what kind of false identity she'll spin, though she'll probably just go by night wolf for now. I guess as long as who she really is isn't announced right away, it'd work out for me.
part iii.
1.) Physically speaking, what stands out about your character? Imposing size? Physical scarring? Tattoos? Nothing. Arya's been taught to be faceless, she can blend in and...literally take on other faces, so. She's on the smallish side, dark hair, gray eyes.
2.) Is your character immune to any of the following: poisons, chemical agents, telekinetic influence, radiation, or types of illnesses? Nope.
3.) Is your character physiologically different from a human in any way? This can include their blood, skin, hair, et cetera being made up of something unusual or simply differing in construction and durability. Nope
4.) Are you amenable to having your character be harmed in any way? How far are you comfortable with injury to you character going? Does this include being fed on by vampires, willingly or unwillingly? Yep, that's fine. Serious injury is probably okay, up till the point where she becomes unplayable.
5.) Is it acceptable for other characters with abilities of shapeshifting or disguise to imitate your character? Does this include ability mimicry? YES. God that would be so interesting.
part iv.
1.) Can your character's presence or aura be noticed by other characters, and how would it look/feel to them? How would it manifest to a character with no supernatural abilities, if at all? Uh, well she's a warg, which is a skinwalker/changer, but basically it means she can slip into animals. So I don't know, probably cold and a little bestial.
2.) Can your character be affected by magic spells and curses? Yes.
3.) Can your character be affected by sin and corruption, and be tempted toward expressing their darker urges (of whatever flavor)? Oh yes.
4. What sort of sins is the character prone toward, and how might they best be tempted, if you are interested in such an event? Murder. She's already got a lot of death under her belt, she knows how to kill, and there are people she still WANTS to kill. Just dangle that in front of her.
5.) Are you amenable to the character receiving prophetic visions, including as part of a plot? Yep!
part v.
1. Is threadjacking allowed? Under what circumstances? ALL. Except private things, I guess, but generally I like threadjacking.
2. Is it acceptable for canonmates that are updated further than yours to inform your character of events yours has not yet experienced? Lol not really applicable, so that would have to be hashed out.
3. Are there triggering or upsetting topics you would like other characters to avoid mentioning to yours for the sake of continued comfort (racist words, homophobia, self-injury, etc.)? Nope
4. Are there any additions you would like us to make to this survey? Nope!
